4 Ingredient, Clean Donuts!
I came up with the name for my blog FUEL & Fitness because I am very passionate about nutrition. I truly believe that they way we FEEL is a reflection of what we FUEL our body with. Clean food-if food is its purest form, this is unaltered, unprocessed food.
Once in a GREAT while, I will buy my daughter a donut upon her request, if I am picking up my free Dunkin' coffee after the EAGLES win their Sunday football game! Lately, she has been asking every single time we pass! I finally said let's make some at home!
We tried several recipes before we came up with this WINNER!!
Next stop, the craft store for a donut shaped donut pan!!
Recipe!
1 cup Almond Flour
3 TBS Maple Syrup (or raw honey) (If you like SWEET try 1/4 cup)
2 large eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
Preheat oven to 300 degrees, Bake on a greased pan (I used a mini cupcake tin because that's what I had) for 10-15 minutes! ENJOY!

For the Icing I used 1/2 cup Wholesome brand confectioners sugar, with 4 TBS Vanilla Almond Milk...I added some chocolate chips to make it chocolate !
